Domiciliary Care Assistant
Manchester, United Kingdom · Full-time · £23,000 – £26,000
✓ Licensed Sponsor · UK
HealthcarePosted 29 Jul 2026
Right at Home's Manchester branch is hiring a Domiciliary Care Assistant to deliver home care visits, focused on Right at Home's higher-minimum-visit-length model (typically one hour minimum) to allow more meaningful, unrushed care.
What you'll do: support clients in their own homes with personal care, companionship, and daily living tasks; deliver longer, less rushed visits than is typical in the sector; build long-term relationships with a consistent client group.
What we're looking for: a full UK driving licence for community visits, a caring and patient approach, and (ideally) some prior care experience — though full training is provided.
A note on sponsorship: since the Care Worker and Senior Care Worker visa route closed to new overseas applicants on 22 July 2025, sponsorship for this role is only available to candidates who are already in the UK with eligible immigration status — for example, an existing care worker looking to switch sponsor, or someone on another visa route such as Graduate. This employer holds an active Home Office sponsor licence and does sponsor eligible in-UK candidates, even where their own job advert doesn't spell that out. If you're applying from outside the UK, this route is not currently open to you — check the latest Home Office guidance before applying.
Visa Sponsorship Information
This employer is listed on the UK Government's Register of Licensed Sponsors. This indicates that the employer holds a sponsorship licence and there may be a possibility of visa sponsorship for eligible positions.
Important: A sponsor licence does not mean that this specific vacancy offers visa sponsorship. Sponsorship depends on the role, occupation, salary, eligibility requirements and the employer's willingness to sponsor. Applicants should confirm sponsorship availability directly with the employer before applying.
